Family Account Management — Guide for Parents
Family Accounts allow you to add your child to your CoachNow account so your coach can book sessions and register them for programs on their behalf. All payments and notifications come to you — your child doesn't need their own login.
Note: Family Accounts are currently available on web only. Mobile support is coming soon. At this stage, Family Accounts support children 13 and under.
Before You Start
Your coach will invite you to CoachNow using your email address. Once you've created your account, follow the steps below to add your child. Your coach won't be able to book for your child until this is done.
Adding Your Child to Your Account
Log in to CoachNow on the web at app.coachnow.io
Go to Account Settings → Family
Click Add Family Member
Enter your child's information
Check the box confirming your consent for your child's participation
Click Save
Your child will now appear in your account and will be visible to your coach when booking sessions or registering for programs.
What Happens After Your Child is Added
Once your child is added, your coach can book sessions and register them for programs. You don't need to do anything else — your coach will handle the booking from their end.
When a session is booked for your child:
A Space will automatically be created so you can follow your child's coaching activity
All payment confirmations and session notifications will be sent to you
Payment is processed through your account using your saved cards, packages, or credits
Registering Your Child for a Program
Your coach can also register your child for group programs on your behalf. Payment will be processed through your account, and you'll receive all confirmations and updates.
Managing Your Family Members
You can view and manage your family members at any time under Account Settings → Family.
Need to remove a family member?
A family member can't be removed if they're currently registered in a program or have upcoming sessions. Make sure all programs are completed or cancelled first, then return to Account Settings → Family to remove them.
