In CoachNow, you can shoot videos directly in the app to then be reviewed later on in your athlete’s Space.

As you’re posting videos, you have the ability to trim out unwanted content. This can help keep your videos focused and shorten their duration, while also editing out any parts of the video that are unnecessary (e.g. set up and take down).

When Filming in CoachNow

To shoot a new video in CoachNow, first tap the orange button at the bottom center of the screen. Select "Take Video."

Once you’re done shooting your footage, you’ll be able to replay the video in its entirety in a new window.

In this new window you’ll see the video taking up most of the screen, and underneath your video you’ll see a scrub bar. At the end of the scrub bar, there are two orange bars.

To trim the video, tap on either end and drag the bar to your desired starting/ end point.

When finished, tap “use” to enter the analysis screen.

When Uploading From a Camera Roll

To upload and trim an existing video, first tap the orange button at the bottom center of the screen.

Then tap “Library." From your CoachNow library or device Camera Roll, select the video you wish to trim.

Note: You may need to adjust your phone settings to allow CoachNow to access your camera roll. You can do so in the settings menu of your phone. We recommend letting CoachNow access your full camera roll to ensure all your videos are within reach.

Once your video is compressed and uploaded, you’ll be able to replay the video in its entirety in a new window.

In this new window you’ll see the video taking up most of the screen, and underneath your video you’ll see a scrub bar. At the end of the scrub bar, there are two orange bars.
