CoachNow Academy Roles and Access:
Fundamentally, the platform is comprised of two experiences:
Coach-side experience (including Admin and Schedulers); and
Athlete experience.
Coach Experience (Including Admin and Schedulers):
Depending on the role of the user, they will have access to the following components:
Admin Dashboard: Available to Admins and Coaches who are Admins.
Desktop Calendar and Scheduling: Available to Admins, Coaches, and Schedulers.
CoachNow Academy App: Available to all Coaches.
Each role will have the following abilities:
Admin: Admins have the role of Coach as well. Admins have access to:
Invite other Admins, Coaches, and Schedulers
View session calendar for all coaches part of the facility on the desktop calendar.
Book sessions and blocks for all coaches part of the facility on the desktop calendar.
Coach: Coaches can access the CoachNow Academy web platform and app. Coaches will have the following capabilities:
Have a calendar to book sessions.
View session calendar for all coaches part of the facility on the desktop calendar.
Book sessions and blocks for all coaches part of the facility on the desktop calendar.
Scheduler: Scheduler is a category to capture non-Coaches who work at a facility and assist with scheduling sessions for Coaches but do not provide Coaching services themselves. An example might be an intern or merchandiser who occasionally answers the phone and helps with scheduling sessions. Schedulers have the following abilities:
View any Coach's Calendar and book sessions subject to availability.
Athlete Experience:
Athletes will have access to the following:
Desktop Calendar
CoachNow App for athletes
View and book sessions with their coaches.
Coach Titles
Facilities can now assign a title to each coach — for example, "Head Professional" or "PGA Coach." This is optional and is set by the facility admin, not the coach.
Where titles appear:
On the coach's booking cards in the athlete-facing booking flow
Below the coach's name on their profile page
In the coach switcher
On public coach pages
If no title is set, nothing appears in its place.
Coaches: No action needed on your end. Your daily flow is unchanged. If you'd like a title added or updated, contact your facility admin.
Facility Admins: To set a coach title, go to Facility → Users, find the coach, and add or edit their title from there.
