If you're missing posts, replies, or session alerts, there are a few places to check. Notifications can be blocked at the device level, inside the CoachNow app, or on a per-Space or Group basis. Work through the steps below in order.
1. Check your phone's notification settings
This is the most common cause. Before anything in the CoachNow app can reach you, your device must allow notifications from the app.
On iPhone (iOS): Go to Settings → CoachNow → Notifications and make sure Allow Notifications is switched on.
On Android: Go to Settings → Apps → CoachNow → Notifications and make sure notifications are enabled.
💡 Tip: If you have Do Not Disturb or Focus mode turned on, notifications from CoachNow will be silenced. Check that CoachNow is allowed to break through, or temporarily disable Focus mode to test.
2. Check notifications inside the CoachNow app
Even if your device allows notifications, they can still be turned off within CoachNow itself. You can manage push notifications, email digests, and per-Space settings all from the Notifications tab.

3. Check notifications for a specific Space or Group
If you're only missing notifications from one Space or Group (but not others), notifications may have been turned off for that Space or Group specifically. You can toggle these on a per-Space and per-Group basis from within the app.

4. Academy users: check text notification settings
If you use CoachNow Academy and aren't receiving text (SMS) alerts for bookings, reschedules, or cancellations, these are managed separately through the Calendar settings — not the Notifications tab.
Still not receiving notifications?
If you've worked through all the steps above and notifications still aren't arriving, try the following:
Log out and back in — this refreshes your device's push notification connection with CoachNow's servers.
Delete and reinstall the app — this forces your device to re-request notification permissions from scratch.
Check your email spam or junk folder — digest emails can sometimes be filtered out.
Make sure your app is up to date — visit the App Store or Google Play and install any available updates.
